Updates

We now have some new files available in the Classic British Files downloads section.

Check out the repaints by Garry Russell for many great classics with more to come from him in the next few days.

We also have Hawker Hunters, de Haviland Dragon Rapide's and others from Dave Garwood for you to download.

Keep an eye out for loads more over the coming days as I get them uploaded.  There's quite a backlog to catch up with...

Classic British Knowledge Base

Please take the time to visit the new Wiki on classibritishfiles.com

It will eventually be the place to come if you crave knowledge on Brit aircraft or information on FS designers and their creations.

I have created only two articles so far, Rick Piper's and David Maltby's to test the system.

It is Wiki based on purpose so that anyone is free to edit or create articles, hopefully people with a better level of knowledge than me.

Your comments would be gladly received bobby(at)classicbritishfiles.com

Welcome

Welcome to the new Classic British Files website.

This site aims to be the number one place on the internet to download Classic British files for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

We are lucky to have the permission of Rick Piper to host his files here and are looking forward to hosting many more great British downloads.

Are you the creator of a aircraft, panel, sound or scenery, come to think of it, are you the creator of any British related files for Flight Sim and would like to see it hosted here?

Click on the 'File Upload' link on the main menu (you have to register to upload but not to download) and get it uploaded.  Please ensure it contains a text file with the details for the download page.  I haven't quite worked out how to add text boxes to the form...

We hope to eventually have a comprehensive selection of reviews and screenshots of the files available as well as links to the best of the webs classic british flightsim sites.

If you have any questions about the site or wish to comment about it then please contact me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
